Job Description

You will be joining GRL as a full-time Senior FPGA Design Engineer based in Bangalore, India. GRL is a world leader in testing and engineering services for hardware product developers, catering to industries such as cloud computing, mobile, and autonomous driving. As part of the FPGA core design team, your responsibilities will include: - Involvement in design and system architecture for complex FPGA-based Test solutions - Development of Verilog code for various system blocks - Participation in size/timing optimization of complete FPGA design - Execution of place & route flows, pinning, and timing optimization for Xilinx and/or Altera - Continuous improvement of the test and simulation environment to ensure FPGA design functionality - Utilization of hardware debugging capabilities with industry-standard test equipment for protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, 10G-Ethernet, USB 3.0, SATA, PCIe, Display Port, etc. - Understanding and working on high-speed memory interfaces and developing glue logic - Independent work on RTL design, simulation, and verification of modules - Ownership of emulation of a block/subsystem on emulation platforms - Collaboration with Firmware, software, and product verification teams for validation and debugging Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Electronics - 5 - 8 yrs of experience Specific skills desired for this role are: - RTL design using Verilog, Xilinx Vivado ISE, Intel Quartus Prime tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong and effective presentation skills - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving - Ability to take ownership of problems and work effectively in a team GRL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
