Key Responsibilities
Lead firmware architecture design and development for new and existing products.
Write clean, robust, and maintainable code in C/C++ for embedded systems. Develop and optimize device drivers, bootloaders, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART). Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up, debugging, and system integration. Implement and maintain RTOS-based applications. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior members of the firmware team. Create and maintain technical documentation for firmware designs and protocols.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development. Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages. Strong experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS. Hands-on experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and various peripherals. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.). Experience with version control systems, primarily Git. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
