Your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Demonstrating profound technical expertise and industry insight into financial products. - Taking the lead in various aspects of both large-scale and smaller client engagements, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services. - Keeping abreast of market trends and client challenges within the financial services industry. - Overseeing project progress, mitigating risks, and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders. - Actively participating in the mentorship of junior consultants within the organization. To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements: - Possessing an Undergraduate (4-year degree), Masters (in Computational Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics), or Ph.D. in quantitative fields with 2-10 years of relevant experience. - Demonstrating practical or academic knowledge of statistical and numerical techniques such as Monte-Carlo methods and Finite difference methods. - Understanding mathematical concepts related to derivative pricing across asset classes like fixed income, equities, credit, interest rates, FX, and commodities. - Exhibiting strong expertise in market risk and/or counterparty credit risk management/model development/validation. - Having hands-on experience in model development, validation, monitoring, and audit procedures. - Proficiency in mathematical concepts including Stochastic Calculus, Differential and Integral calculus, Numerical Methods, Linear algebra, and Measure Theory. - Possessing advanced coding skills in Python and R, with a basic understanding of SQL. - Demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, along with project management and report writing experience. Additionally, the following qualifications would be considered advantageous: - Professional certifications such as FRM, CQF, CFA, PRM. - Regulatory knowledge or experience in areas like Basel, CCAR, and FRTB. - Experience with ETRM/CTRM systems and comprehensive understanding of the commodity trade lifecycle. - Knowledge or experience with pricing/risk management systems. - Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
