Senior Fashion Designer

As a highly creative and commercially driven Senior Designer, you will take charge of leading monthly fashion capsules and stories with a fast fashion mindset. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing end-to-end women's wear collections, from concept to final sampling. Your responsibilities will include executing story-based capsule collections in accordance with seasonal trend forecasts and business goals. You will analyze market, runway, street style, and competitor trends to craft a unique and relevant fashion narrative. Creating detailed mood boards, color palettes, print directions, silhouettes, and fabric recommendations will be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with CAD, graphic, and print teams to develop exclusive artworks is essential. Guiding prototype development and ensuring design accuracy, trims, and finishes will be part of your responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring fast design-to-sample execution and proactively addressing production constraints. Your collaboration with product development, merchandising, and buying teams will focus on pricing and sourcing alignment. Monitoring and refining design iterations based on feedback from buying roadshows and sales teams will be key to your success. Requirements: - Degree in Fashion Design from NIFT, Pearl, or equivalent - 7-8 years of hands-on experience in designing women's western wear (woven category) - Proven experience in designing capsule collections with short lead times - Excellent command over fashion forecasting, silhouettes, fabrication, trims, and detailing - Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CorelDraw, and MS Office - Strong communication, team leadership, and time management skills If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please DM or email nitu.rani@jacpl.com.
