Senior External Reporting Specialist

As a potential candidate for the role at the leading Global Energy Solutions MNC, your responsibilities will include: - Researching and documenting new accounting standards and complex accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. - Analyzing and supporting accounting treatments for new transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory changes. - Preparing detailed technical accounting memos and workpapers for audit and compliance purposes. - Assisting in drafting and reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports. - Monitoring and communicating new and upcoming accounting pronouncements and assessing their impact on financial reporting. - Supporting the implementation of new technical accounting standards by coordinating with cross-functional teams. - Assisting in international statutory reporting and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local reporting standards. - Participating in ad hoc technical accounting and reporting projects as required.
