Senior Executive - MEP (Electrical)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems design, installation, and execution for residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project coordination, vendor management, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Review & Coordination

• Review electrical design drawings, load calculations, and BOQs prepared by consultants.
  
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  
• Ensure designs comply with local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  

• Project Execution & Site Supervision

• Monitor electrical installations at project sites, ensuring timely and quality execution as per approved drawings.
  
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for electrical works including wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, fire alarm, and power distribution systems.
  
• Ensure coordination of electrical systems with HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP services.
  

• Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and execution of electrical systems.
  
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and work quality.
  

• Project Management

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones for electrical works.
  
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily progress reports, inspection checklists, and handover documents.
  

• Testing & Commissioning

• Supervise testing and commissioning of all electrical systems prior to handover.
  
• Coordinate with third-party agencies for statutory inspections and approvals.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems in real estate projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
  
• Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, ETAP optional).
  
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).
