Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP modules, with hands-on experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and generation of relevant operational and compliance reports.

Proven ability to independently manage Export and Import operations, including statutory formalities, documentation, and online Certificate of Origin (CoO) certification.

Sound experience in handling foreign trade remission and incentive schemes under the FTP, specifically Advance Authorisation, RoDTEP, and Duty Drawback.

Thorough knowledge of HSN classification as per the ITC (HS) Manual and accurate customs duty calculation.

Practical exposure to handling trade agreements such as FTA, PTA, and BTA for both Export and Import transactions.

Capability to independently coordinate with Freight Forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHAs), Shipping Lines, and Carriers to ensure timely import clearances and export documentation across multiple Customs locations in India.

Strong negotiation skills in freight procurement for multimodal transportation to achieve cost and service optimization.

Prior exposure to the Pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage, enabling effective handling of internal and external stakeholders to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) requirements.

Ability to manage cost-effective clearances while minimizing storage costs, container detention, and demurrage charges.

Responsible for daily maintenance and updating of MIS reports for management review.

Experience in managing domestic inbound and outbound logistics movements.

Exposure to handling marine and transit insurance claims in the event of cargo damage or loss.

Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, with regional language as advantage.

Commitment to zero non-compliance with all applicable regulations and statutory requirements of government authorities.
