You ll be responsible for ensuring that potato-based goods are stored and transported under optimal conditions, helping support our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Post Graduation (M. Sc. in Agriculture/MBA) or Graduation (B. Sc. in Agriculture/BA/B. Com/BBA) from a recognized institution.

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control, preferably in cold storage or agricultural produce management.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros; familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.


• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners.


• Sound knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards to uphold safety and legal requirements.


• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address logistical challenges and improve operational efficiencies.


• Willingness to work in rural areas, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to on-site management.

• Monitor and maintain temperature controls for cold storage facilities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and preservation of agricultural produce.


• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating inward and outward logistics activities to guarantee smooth operations and timely deliveries.


• Lead cold storage audits and perform quality checks upon arrival and dispatch of goods to maintain high standards and reduce spoilage.


• Collaborate closely with the transportation team to schedule and coordinate vehicles for prompt and secure delivery of products, minimizing delays.


• Implement cost control measures, manage vendor relationships, and execute supply chain optimization strategies to enhance overall efficiency and reduce expenses.


• Conduct detailed data analysis and prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for the logistics manager to support decision-making processes.


• Manage cold storage inventory accurately; continuously monitor storage conditions and report any deviations or irregularities for prompt resolution.


• Ensure timely dispatch of potato products based on validated indent requirements, maintaining alignment with business demands.


• Supervise and manage manpower and laborers at cold storage sites, promoting a safe and productive work environment.


• Liaise with local authorities to ensure all legal compliances and transportation regulations are adhered to, fostering strong community and regulatory relationships.
