Senior Executive - Inventory Planning

As a Demand and Inventory Management Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Demand Management and Inventory Management functions within the supply chain of the country in a matrix and cross-functional environment. Your key role will involve developing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency in Inventory and Demand Management. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Taking complete responsibility for Inventory Management in the country - Coordinating with sales and marketing teams to ensure demand visibility, forecasting, and aligning Inventory accordingly - Optimizing Inventory between two sites and ensuring liquidation before placing fresh orders - Exercising control over finished goods Inventory, collaborating with Customer Service and Business Development teams for timely liquidation to prevent obsolescence - Working towards Inventory optimization targets with the help of ELS - Collaborating with the purchase team to provide forecasts for upstream supply chain visibility - Daily ordering of Raw materials based on consumption patterns - Participating in daily MDI meetings for PPC and Purchase functions, taking necessary actions - Providing faster responses to emails for improved stock visibility - Compiling forecasts versus actuals and discussing with sales for Inventory alignment - Planning AF, BF, and CF category items efficiently to avoid stockouts while meeting Inventory targets - Focusing on AR, BR, CR category items to prevent inventory pile-ups - Generating Inventory and Demand planning-related MIS reports - Managing Inventory data such as ABC FMR, SS, and ROL effectively - Driving efficiency in Inventory Management to improve OTA - Establishing Sales and Operations Planning processes for Demand and Supply balancing - Controlling Inventory levels to maintain Management-set targets Qualifications for this role include: - Detailed understanding of Inventory Management/Materials Management - BE/B.Tech/MBA/Degree (Preference for materials management) - 4 to 5 years of experience in Inventory Management and Demand Management - Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential - Preferably from an MNC background - Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing - Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Exposure to ERP systems would be advantageous - Sound knowledge of continuous improvement programs like Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc. - Exclusive experience in the manufacturing industry.,
