Job Title: Senior Executive-Finance and Accounts Location: Pune (Work from Office) Experience: 46 Years (preferably in IT / SaaS / Consulting environment) Role Overview We're looking for a smart, business-savvy FP&A Analyst who can own our MIS and financial planning processes end-to-end. Someone who loves numbers, knows how businesses actually work (beyond just Excel formulas), and can convert raw data into insights leadership can trust Key Responsibilities 1. MIS & Reporting (End-to-End Ownership) ? Build MIS reports from raw data to polished final management decks. ? Design, maintain, and automate MIS models for P&L, Cash Flow, COGS, and segment performance. ? Ensure cross-verification of MIS data with books of accounts (Finance, Payroll, Delivery, HR, Sales, PMO). ? Create monthly MBR packs and presentations with crisp insights, trends, and variance analysis. ? Build and improve dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools. ? Establish structured reporting workflows, timelines, and quality checks. 2. Financial Planning & Analysis ? Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles. ? Perform deep-dive variance analysis (Revenue, Gross Margin, Opex, EBITDA, Cash Flow). ? Provide decision-making support through scenario planning, sensitivity models, and what-if analysis. ? Track business KPIs and operational metrics highlight risks, red flags, and opportunities. ? Support fundraising and valuation analysis (optional but good to have). 3. Business Partnering & Cross-Department Coordination ? Work closely with Delivery, Sales, HR, Payroll, PMO, and Finance Controllers to gather accurate inputs. ? Ensure timely data collection and alignment of reports across departments. ? Translate operational business realities into financial insights. ? Improve processes, remove data gaps, and streamline communication loops. 4. Process, Automation & Systems ? Improve data collection systems, templates, trackers, and BI workflows. ? Build standardized SOPs for monthly MIS, reconciliations, and reporting. ? Maintain data hygiene and accuracy at all levels. Skills & Competencies ? Strong Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot, advanced formulas ? Solid Power BI: data modelling, DAX, dashboards, drill-down reports. ? Strong business understanding: revenue models, COGS, margins, project economics, collections, CCC, etc. Ability to work under tight timelines and monthly closures. ? Strong command over core finance processes, including provisioning, prepaid expense schedules, fixed asset register management, depreciation workings, monthly close activities, reconciliations, and detailed variance analysis ? Sharp analytical thinking; can challenge numbers and detect anomalies. ? Excellent written & verbal communication,Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self driven. Qualifications ? Bachelor's in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar. ? Preferred: MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or similar finance credentials. ? 46 years of experience in FP&A, MIS, business finance, or financial analysis. ? Prior experience in the IT/Services/Consulting industry is an added advantage.
