Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To ensure daily / shift production and productivity as per plan and target.
To ensure all PQCDSM objectives are met.
To lead a team of permanent workmen.
Manage contract labors.
To ensure minimum stoppages and smooth running of production lines.
Initiate the small improvement projects.
Involve and motivate the operators and contract labors.
To ensure safe working conditions as per the defined Environment, Occupational Health & Safety management systems.
Active participation in TQM initiatives.
Ensure adherence to production processes as defined in IATF-16949 & EOHS management systems.

Knowledge and skills required.

Hard core ERW production professional with hands-on experience in the areas of ERW production, knowledge about ERW equipments like Slitter, Tube Mill, Straightening & Cutting machines etc, Knowledge of Types of Roll Profile, Can set mill if needed.
Knowledge of Testing equipments.
Knowledge about the selection of ERW tooling used in various equipments, Fin Cutting Head, OD Tool Inserts, ID Ring Tool, Impeder & Work Coils.
Knowledge about each ERW process, various sizes and material grades.

Preferred candidate profile

Preference for a candidate from a tube Industry who is working in ERW Production only & also willing to work in shifts.
Candidates based in Shirwal or willing to relocate to Shirwal are preferred.
