Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and modify
3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings
using SolidWorks.
Design and support
sheet metal components
, including bends, flat patterns, and fabrication-and able to ready drawings.
Prepare and interpret
manufacturing drawings
, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Coordinate with
production and fabrication teams
to ensure design feasibility and smooth execution.
Possess working knowledge of
laser cutting processes
, material thickness selection, and nesting requirements.
Review and revise drawings based on
manufacturing feedback, site conditions, and client requirements
.
Assist in
BOM preparation
, design documentation, and version control.
Ensure all designs comply with
quality standards, project timelines, and cost considerations
.

Key Skills Required:

Proficiency in
SolidWorks
(Mandatory)
Hands-on experience in
3D modeling, part design, and assemblies
Knowledge of
2D drawings, GD&T, and BOM preparation(Mandatory)
Basic understanding of
manufacturing processes and materials
Minimum
2 years of experience
in mechanical design using SolidWorks
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to
work under deadlines
and adapt to changing project needs
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
