 Senior Executive - Debt Management Services - Consumer 
 About The Role  
The Senior Executive - Debt Management Services - Consumer is responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end process of consumer debt recovery. This role ensures efficient management of overdue accounts while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. The Senior Executive plays a critical role in reducing delinquency rates, minimizing losses, and fostering strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Manage a portfolio of consumer accounts with overdue payments, ensuring timely and effective collection actions.
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding debts.
  • Analyze account histories and recommend appropriate recovery strategies to maximize collections and minimize risk.
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports on collection activities and recovery rates.
  • Collaborate with legal, credit, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and escalate complex cases as necessary.
  • Ensure all collection processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices in debt management.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members on effective collection techniques and compliance procedures.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external collection agencies and vendors.

  •  Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in consumer debt collection or credit management, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong knowledge of debt recovery processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using debt management and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  •  Work Environment 
  • Office-based with standard working hours; occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods.
  • May involve direct interaction with customers and external agencies.
