Job Description

The Vessel Operator shall assist, and report to Operations Manager, in overseeing the successful commercial operations for the companys fleet of tankers.
Responsibilities:

Promoting HSSQEE excellence according to Company Policy.
Communicating voyage instructions, vessel movements, bunkering, and voyage completion to the Master, charterers, brokers, and other concerned parties.
Gathering all necessary information for load port and disport.
Studying charter party clauses to protect principal's interests.
Planning vessel refueling based on movements and competitive pricing.
Monitoring cargo and ballast plans, ensuring Masters follow proper instructions.
Coordinating vessel-related activities, including port requirements and position updates.
Communicating with and supporting all other internal teams where required.
Preparing freight invoices, Demurrage, claim handling, Port agents appointments of the assigned tank vessels.

Qualifications:

Minimum graduated student from a Maritime Academy /University with accounting skills or a junior officer on board tanker carriers preferably with a class 2 COC Deck or Engineering or have worked in shipping organization in the marine operations field -with a minimum one-year shore experience

Personal Qualities:

Communicate advise in a clear/unambiguous way, orally and written.
Analyze details and draw conclusions that help to improve processes.
Able to anticipate problems arising from work processes.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
The ability to work as part of a close team and contribute in various areas of the business.
Adaptable mindset.
