Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Manage the

    RFQ process for sheet metal components

    , coordinating with design, production, and costing teams for feasibility, pricing, and timely quotation submission.
  2. Conduct internal RFQ reviews with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Quality, and Purchase) to ensure alignment with customer requirements and timelines.
  3. Handle new order management from order receipt to execution, ensuring smooth coordination with internal departments.
  4. Visit customers to review ongoing sheet metal projects, discuss new business opportunities, and resolve open issues.
  5. Address customer concerns related to quality, delivery, and technical specifications by coordinating with internal quality and production teams.
  6. Manage price revision requests, debit notes, and supplementary invoices to prevent payment delays.
  7. Track product delivery schedules, ensure adherence to timelines, and provide support for dispatch or logistic-related issues.
  8. Serve as the key account manager for assigned customers, ensuring long-term relationship management and customer satisfaction.
  9. Monitor market and competitor trends specific to the sheet metal industry and provide insights to strengthen business strategy.
  10. Conduct internal review meetings to align team goals with target prices, delivery schedules, and business objectives.
  11. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the sheet metal domain while nurturing existing customer relationships.
  12. Prepare and execute monthly sales plans and annual business growth plans, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  13. Oversee implementation of engineering changes (CR/ECN) and ensure customer communication is handled efficiently.
