Senior Event Co-ordinator

As a Senior Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for understanding the requirements of each event and planning them meticulously while adhering to financial and time constraints. Your key tasks will include booking venues, scheduling speakers, researching vendors (such as catering, decorators, musicians), and selecting the best combination of quality and cost. Negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms, managing all event operations from venue preparation to sending out invitations, and conducting final checks on the day of the event to ensure everything meets the desired standards will be crucial aspects of your role. On the day of the event, you will oversee the happenings and be prepared to address any issues that may arise promptly. It will also be your responsibility to evaluate the success of each event and compile detailed reports for future reference. You should have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and possess 2 to 4 years of experience in the field of event management to excel in this position. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calicut, Kerala.
