Senior Enterprise Fellow (Research Advisor Public Health/Epidemiology)

As a Senior Enterprise Fellow at the NIHR Specialist Centre for Public Health Research Support Service Hub at the University of Southampton and Partners, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality research design advice and support to investigators applying for research funding, with a particular focus on research outside of NHS settings. Your expertise in public health research/epidemiology will be utilized to guide researchers through the process of developing funding applications, especially for NIHR funding programmes. Some key responsibilities in this role include: - Providing research design advice and support to investigators applying for research funding, particularly NIHR funding programmes. - Offering guidance on how to deliver the public health/epidemiological aspects of an applied research study. - Utilizing your expertise in any area of public health research/epidemiology to support researchers effectively. - Demonstrating excellent communication and consultation skills to effectively collaborate with researchers. Qualifications required for this role: - Experience in public health research, preferably with a focus on research outside of NHS settings. - Understanding of what is required to produce high-quality research funding applications. - Familiarity with the NIHRs Public Health Research (PHR) Programme would be advantageous. - Strong knowledge of public health research/epidemiology principles.
