Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager at NineHertz India, you will play a crucial role in leading our development teams and delivering top-tier technology solutions that enhance our product offerings and align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, and inspiring multiple engineering teams to achieve excellence, as well as overseeing the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions. You will need to ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and processes, while also researching and adopting emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Effective communication with stakeholders on project progress, risks, and opportunities will be key, as well as managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for engineering projects. Additionally, you will be expected to assess and address the business impact of technical decisions. To be successful in this role, you should have proven work experience as a Senior Engineering Manager or in a senior technical leadership role, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in engineering management. You should possess a strong background in software architecture, development, and system design, as well as exposure to project management and agile delivery methodologies. An in-depth understanding of coding languages, development frameworks, operating systems, databases, IT infrastructure, and cloud platforms is essential. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills are a must, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Masters preferred) is required.
