Senior Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate for this position must hold a B.E./B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, and Petrochemicals sector. The candidate should have a proven track record of leading the Engineering department and managing a team of 10-15 individuals. Proficiency in tools such as HYSYS, PV Elite, CAESAR stress analysis, STAAD, 3D Modelling, MS-Project, project management activities, Quality checks methodology, and Management of Change is essential. As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities across various disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping, and Instrumentation departments. Collaboration with respective Heads of Departments is crucial for effective planning and execution. Your role will involve ensuring timely project delivery within budget constraints while maintaining the required quality standards. In addition to project management, you will provide technical leadership to the engineering team, develop and implement strategies to achieve project goals, and ensure compliance with Management of Change processes. Safety and regulatory compliance will be key priorities, and fostering a culture of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) will be integral to your responsibilities. You will be expected to lead the Engineering team through technical and performance management, coordinate research projects, and implement process scale-up activities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering innovation, and building strong relationships with stakeholders are essential for success in this role. Additional responsibilities include data analysis and reporting, risk management, process improvement, and overseeing the integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
