Senior Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at Adobe, your role involves leading the design, development, and testing of large-scale, low-latency high-volume services that serve millions of requests daily. You will collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to create the technical vision and roadmap for the team. Mentoring team members, helping them grow, and providing oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions will be crucial. Building new functionality/services and APIs for Adobe Campaign, along with creating reliable, scalable, and secure cloud services, are key responsibilities. Your involvement in the full lifecycle of the project, from user story to design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance, will be essential. Additionally, creating technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate ideas will play a significant role in your position. To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for what you do, along with at least 9 years of experience in software development, including 2 years in a management role. Strong technical skills in designing and developing full-stack enterprise applications, familiarity with software development methodologies and design patterns, and experience leading significant software projects are required. Your track record in leading projects through full product delivery cycles, coaching and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers, recruiting and building robust teams, and working with technologies like React, Angular, Java, Kafka, MySQL, Postgres, Solr, Elastic Search, AWS, and/or Azure will be beneficial. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
