Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading our Technology & Product teams to drive platform engineering for our next-generation AI-powered SaaS and mobile platforms. Your expertise in technical leadership, product execution, team leadership, strategic initiatives, and innovation will be instrumental in achieving our goals. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Technical Leadership & Architecture**: - Drive end-to-end system design for distributed SaaS platforms. - Architect and implement robust, secure, and modular microservices. - Lead integration of AI/ML components and third-party services. - Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and DevOps pipelines. - **Product Execution**: - Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to define and deliver scalable solutions. - Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle: sprint planning, development, release. - Lead tech transformation projects including legacy migration (e.g., PHP to Node.js). - Ensure system reliability through structured monitoring and incident resolution. - **Team Leadership & Culture**: - Lead, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering and product teams. - Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning. - Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and learning. - Partner with hiring teams to scale effectively while maintaining quality. - **Strategic Initiatives & Innovation**: - Collaborate with leadership to align platform roadmap with business goals. - Evaluate emerging technologies for practical adoption. - Drive strategic technology initiatives, including digital transformation and AI-first product capabilities. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone who has: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field. - 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, including experience in team leadership. - Proven track record in building and scaling SaaS or B2B platforms. - Strong full-stack development background (Node.js, Java Spring Boot, React.js). - Proficient in cloud architecture and services (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and system design. - Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments. Your preferred qualifications would include: - Experience in start-up's or high-growth product environments. - Exposure to AI/ML integrations, GenAI tools, or chatbot platforms. - Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or cloud (AWS/GCP).
