Senior Engineer - Telecom

As a Senior Engineer - Telecom at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in the proposals stage by reviewing ITB documents, issuing inquiry requisitions, reviewing vendor offers, and preparing estimates. You will establish contract review criteria, resolve discrepancies, and organize the preparation of Technical Document Register (TDR) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) with other Work Centres. Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling engineering activities, verifying work routes, and identifying the scope of work/supply. You will coordinate with projects and planning to establish target completion dates, ensure work apportionment among engineering staff, and prepare essential engineering documents related to telecom systems. Furthermore, you will administer the development of detailed engineering drawings, coordinate with vendors, and participate in technical bid evaluations. You will also be responsible for procurement activities, vendor inspections, and project progress monitoring in adherence to schedule and budget. In addition to your technical duties, you will mentor graduates, organize training for juniors, participate in performance evaluations, and recommend training and development requirements for the team. You may also assume the responsibilities of the Principal Engineer during their absence and provide technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers.
