Senior Engineer - Quality & Inspection

Arudra Engineers Pvt Ltd, Chennai is looking to build their Industrial coatings division with an enthusiastic, well experienced Technical Inspection Engineer with a NACE level 2 qualification. The ideal candidate will be required to have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of installation and inspection of industrial coatings and should have completed NACE level 2 certification. The work experience should also include references of handling industrial coating projects and drafting reports for various coating installations. They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned tasks and projects. Responsibilities · Understanding the range of industrial coatings & linings Arudra manufactures and installs. · Outline Method Statements and Case Reports for various installations. · Outline and monitor QC and MC documents for various projects. · Liaise with labs and 3 rd party institutions for approval and certification of various application systems. · Manage a team of coating applicators and provide periodic training for various coating applications. · Monitor the quality of coating installation across various sites and document the same as per QC protocols. · Grow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clients. · Attend trade shows and relevant conferences. Qualifications · Minimum 3 years of sales experience in inspecting Industrial Coating installations. · Minimum NACE Level 2 qualification and willingness to pursue NACE Level 3 if required by the organisation. · Good knowledge of surface preparation standards, QC & MC documentation, Inspection Guidelines and Fundamentals of Corrosion & Erosion engineering. · Experience in handling clients from heavy industries such as Marine, Pulp & Paper, Power, Cement, Oil & Gas and Chemical & Fertilizer Industry. · Bachelor's degree. · Proficient in Microsoft Office - Predominantly Word, Outlook & Microsoft Excel. · Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills Strong understanding of full sales process.
