Description
As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs. Your contributions will play a key role in launching cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to design system-level software solutions and gather performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software - Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers - Obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces - Launch cutting-edge products that meet and exceed customer needs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. In the role of ML Libraries Development Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be part of the CPU architecture team responsible for driving core math libraries for ML/AI acceleration. Your tasks will include optimizing core ML kernels using advancements like SME, SVE of the ARM CPU architecture to enhance performance on QCOM SoC. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize core ML kernels for ML/AI acceleration - Enhance performance of ML models on QCOM SoC CPU - Participate in optimizing algorithms for ARM CPU architecture - Inferencing ML models using Pytorch, TensorFlow, Keras - Design algorithms suitable for vector and matrix accelerators Required Skills: - Understanding of ARM CPU architecture and ARM Arch64 ISA - Optimization of kernels for vector processors - Knowledge of linear algebra functions in AI/ML - Algorithm design and critical thinking - Performance evaluation and optimization for ARM architecture - Inferencing ML models in Pytorch/TensorFlow/Keras Preferred Skills: - Strong programming skills and understanding of ARM ISA - Knowledge of algorithms for vector and matrix accelerators - Analytical and debugging skills - Optimization of linear algebra algorithms - Performance evaluation using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and real hardware Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
