Gathers and correates basic engineering data using estabished and we-defined procedures. Works on detaied or routine engineering assignments invoving cacuations and reativey simpe tests. Proposes approach to sove new probems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods deveoped in previous assignments. Identifies discrepancies in resuts. Provides guidance to entry eve engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedue with itte supervision. Independenty performs a the tasks necessary to compete primary design eements for engineering works. Performance at this eve requires deveopmenta experience in a professiona position. Responsibe for engineering design and modification activities reated to eectrica & eectronic circuits, systems, and equipment. May invove the instaation and operation & maintenance of eectrica systems and equipment. Discipine concerning power systems, eectronic and transmission equipment, eectric service and suppy systems, ighting systems, communication service and suppy systems, fire aarm and detection systems, contro systems or eectrica instaations. An eectrica engineer focuses on designing, maintaining and improving products that are powered by or produce eectricity. Eectrica engineering deas with eectricity, eectro-magnetism and eectronics. It aso covers power, contro systems, teecommunications and signa processing. These engineers are usuay concerned with arge-scae eectrica systems such as motor contro and power transmission, as we as utiizing eectricity to transmit energy. Quaifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivaent education) in an appropriate engineering discipine from an accredited coege or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professiona Engineer (PE) icense or equivaent in the reevant fied from any goba organization (e.g., Institution of Eectrica Engineers, UK) Minimum Overa 6+ years of work experience is preferred. Prior experience in eading arge design engineering teams performing Grid Substation design in a goba consutancy firm is preferred. Experience on HV Pant Design for arge EHV Grid Substations is mandatory. Previous experience in design teams working for Grid Utiities (for e.g., Nationa Grid, Transgrid, Powergrid etc.,) is highy desirabe Expsoure to Internationa standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Austraian Standards and Midde East region codes and standards) is preferred Previous design experience working with GIS and AIS EHV substation HV Pant Primary design is preferabe Chartership or Feowship with IET or equivaent is highy preferabe Very good communication skis (Ora and Written) in Engish anguage is mandatory Additiona Information AECOM provides a wide array of compensation and benefits programs to meet the diverse needs of our empoyees and their famiies.
