You will be responsible for managing 24x7x365 system administration operations, including O/S and server support across production, development, and internal IT environments. Your duties will involve troubleshooting, tuning, upgrading, and monitoring Windows and ESXi infrastructure. Additionally, you will set up and maintain hardware, including Dell/HP servers, and coordinate with vendors for hardware issue resolution. Datacenter management tasks, such as infrastructure asset management, license compliance, and reporting, will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will include installing and configuring Windows and ESXi OS, ensuring server hardening, and administering file servers and user-level permissions. You will manage WSUS for patching, version upgrades, and maintaining patch compliance, as well as configure and manage Windows cluster infrastructure. Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities identified during VAPT scans will be crucial. Furthermore, you will administer Virtual Center, ESXi, VRA, SRM, and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups and conduct regular DR drills. Providing audit evidence and supporting security audits and maintaining knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management are also key aspects of the role. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with Cisco Hyperflex, Dell VxRail, familiarity with VMware ESXi patching/upgrade, VMware Update Manager, baseline creation, and host profile management, as well as VMware and/or Windows certification. A good understanding of ITIL processes and audit compliance is highly desirable. Good-to-have skills for this role include automation and scripting knowledge, basic networking concepts, experience with Citrix Xen, and familiarity with AWS or VMC environments. Requirements for this role include strong communication skills and flexibility to work in shifts, proven experience in Windows and ESXi infrastructure management, and knowledge of security and compliance best practices, including audit processes.
