Senior Engineer Mechanical

**Job Description:** As an Experienced Mechanical Engineer at Barry-Wehmiller, you will play a crucial role in New Product Development, Conceptual Design, Engineering Calculations, and Detailing for various Industrial Machineries and Equipment including Printing, Packaging, Converting, Textile, and Paper machineries. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design product line variants and modifications of existing machines - Perform basic engineering calculations and concept development - Create detailed designs, drawings, and Bill of Materials using SolidWorks (2018 & above) and Infor XA applications - Participate in testing, safety, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting reviews - Conduct risk assessments using techniques like DFMEA - Stay updated with industry developments related to client product lines **Qualifications Required:** - Sound knowledge in mechanical engineering design principles - Proficiency in manufacturing processes and engineering calculations - Experience in selecting commercial components and materials for industrial machinery - Ability to use SolidWorks for large assemblies and FEA simulations - Familiarity with Metric and Imperial Design Standards, servo motor selection, and GD&T - Proficient in tools like SolidWorks 2018 & above, EPDM, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications **Additional Company Details:** Barry-Wehmiller is a global supplier of manufacturing technology and services with a focus on people-centric leadership and purpose-driven growth.
