Design & Develop SPM 's from concept to final execution based on customer and project requirements. Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. Perform design validation and verification through simulations and analysis. Develop and revise engineering documentation, including BOMs and assembly instructions. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Support manufacturing teams with design-related issues and improvements. Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer. Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices. Immediate joiner preferred.

The main responsibilities for this role include ensuring compliance with FSU and IPR guidelines in alignment with GPDS Milestones and VPP targets. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting engineering/program direction letters to ensure accurate data processing into WERS (Ford database of BOM Release). Collaboration with Engineering is essential to verify data accuracy before releasing BOM in the system. Utilizing color charts to create and apply correct color codes for part numbers according to Program Direction Letter is also part of the role. Maintaining 100% BOM accuracy and quality levels to support prototype and production builds through various audit methods such as part audits through Surrogate comparison, Structure Audit, and Tree Chart to identify missing or additional usage for a part number in a commodity. Proper interpretation of Program Direction Letters for usage coding is crucial. Keeping structures in WERS for bailment parts, in-house assemblies, and cross plant shipments as required is also a key responsibility. Coordinating with Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing for inputs and accurate releasing & structuring of bailment/cross plant ship parts in the system before release is necessary. Conducting efficient Release Analysis to ensure 100% accurate releases in WERS and supporting PPM launch activities for allocated new programs in coordination with members from all PPM work streams are also part of the job.,

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of experience in Engineering Deliver Bill of materials for vehicle projects (PC, LCV, PWT) and update serial life information. Gathering requirements from workflows: OneTD, Sharepoint, connect with designer teams & PDT/CPDOC Create / update BOM information inside enterprise tools based on input and analysis (perimeters = BIW, Trims, chassis, electrical, PWT), in given project timeline. Perform quality checks : be able to self-assess deliveries Communicate in a proactive way: information to counterparts & management regarding activity, progress, completion status, blockages & delays.
