Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Design

You will be responsible for: - Participating in the development and continuous improvement of the company's NPI (New Product Introduction) and NPI project management systems. - Planning and driving NPI project management for mobile phone product development, including defining strategy, developing project plans, identifying and assessing risks, designing countermeasures, controlling milestones, driving execution, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. - Coordinating the end-to-end NPI process from R&D through delivery and ensuring alignment across all NPI stages. - Leading and executing early-stage reviews of mechanical structure, manufacturing processes, assembly flows, and feasibility during product development. - Coordinating with Purchasing, Quality, Planning, and R&D to perform supplier management activities specific to NPI projects. - Planning and leading pilot/try-out production runs, capturing and summarizing issues, and driving corrective actions to closure. - Planning, driving, and owning production-line capacity and yield improvement initiatives; managing and resolving production-line abnormalities. - Driving and overseeing the review and acceptance of line tooling, fixtures, and process validations. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile phone NPI or R&D project management. - Solid understanding of electronic product processes (SMT, assembly, test, packaging) with substantial hands-on experience in smartphone assembly and test operations. - Strong execution and driving ability. Experience taking projects from zero to one is a plus. Prior team management experience is desirable. - Excellent analytical and logical thinking, clear problem-solving approach, and demonstrated leadership. - Able to evaluate R&D/design quality and provide practical improvement suggestions for product and fixture design. - Proven experience resolving production-line abnormalities is a plus. - High stress tolerance, strong team orientation, and a service-minded approach to supporting project teams.,
