Job Description

  • Design and develop HIL test benches using platforms like dSPACE, NI, Vector, or Speedgoat.
  • Develop test cases and scripts using tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or AutomationDesk.
  • Integrate real-time models and simulate plant behavior for closed-loop testing.
  • Perform regression, functional, and fault injection testing on embedded control systems.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and support debugging with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain and update HIL setups as per evolving project requirements.
  • Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with system architects and software developers to define test strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Hands-on experience with HIL platforms (e.g., dSPACE, NI VeriStand, Vector VT System). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, CAPL). Strong understanding of embedded systems, control theory, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and issue tracking tools (JIRA, ALM). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and documentation abilities. HIL
