Job Description

This position is responsible for new design and development of interior trims like
Pillar Trims: A Pillar, B Pillar Upper & Lower, C Pillar Upper & Lower, Scuff plate, etc.
Headliner: Fixed roof, Panoroof, Opening Panoroof, etc.
Carpet & Load Space Trim: Front/Rear Carpet, Dash NVH, Bulkhead Insulation, Load Space Side, Parcel Shelf, Load Floor, Storage Block, etc.
Responsible for Creating Master sections, conducting benchmarking of competitor vehicles.
Assess style surface, Provide engineering feasible solution & feedback to studio team
Ensure OEM CAD Standard methodologies are followed while creating CAD geometries.
Ensure system, sub-system and components meet required interfaces, DVA, OQ-PQ targets & Regulatory targets.
Should be able to lead the design reviews with cross functional teams & lead engineers.
DMU check during digital phase by checking kinematic Interference/ Contact/ Clearance
Create Concept proposals & detail studies for issues.
Good knowledge on manufacturing process used in all Cabin trim parts ((Pillar Trims, Headliner, Load space trim & Floor Carpet, Insulations)
Good level of understanding on part level location & fixation methods.
Adequate knowledge of plastic moulding and design process, DFMEA, DVP, DFA/DFM & GD&T.
Ensuring that the all-project deliverables is met at given time with Dashboard document.
Identifying all risks of the programme and make appropriate capitalization documents (Lessons learned, Technical Reports) to feed/improve Design and Development standards and guidelines.
