Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.1 Perform qualification of electronics products, for compliance with required standards and specifications

1.2 To be the engineering interface between R&D and Manufacturing teams and develop manufacturing and testing procedures, checklists etc.

1.3 Perform functional and reliability tests on electronics equipment for industrial, military and railway applications

1.4 Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation like BOM, assembly work instructions, test procedures, checklists etc.

1.5 Obsolescence management by identifying and qualifying alternate components

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge in Analog & Digital hardware designs, Prototype developments, product Verification & validation, CENELEC standards.
• The responsibilities include the involvement in development of proto-types and establish the manufacturing documents required for manufacturing.
• Involve in finalization of product specifications and applicable standards
• Involve in selection of components and  ensure the parts availability for assembly
• Develop pro-types and establish the test procedures for the products
• Develop manufacturing documents including BOM, AVL, Test procedures, Assembly instructions, Drawings etc.
• Verify & Validate the product in-compliance with the customer requirements
• Involve in environmental tests and ensure the product compliance with the standards
