Senior Engineer - EHS

Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical with a Diploma in safety from a recognized university/board - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an EHS Role with a focus on lifting and hoisting equipment - Strong background in environmental regulations, safety compliance, and risk management - Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHAs) for lifting operations and other activities - Prepare site EHS Plan, SWMS, Lifting plan, and all other EHS-related documents as per customer requirements - Expertise in Crane & Lifting safety, capable of preparing and delivering the Lifting plan to customers - Ensure proper planning, execution, and monitoring of lifting operations to minimize risks - Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions - Prepare detailed incident reports and provide recommendations for enhancing safety practices - Promote safety awareness and ensure employee compliance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures - Ability to travel to regional project sites for site visits and inspections - Handle clients and demonstrate implemented safety standards at project sites Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical with a Diploma in safety - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an EHS Role - Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, safety compliance, and risk management - Ability to conduct risk assessments, prepare EHS documents, and lead safety initiatives - Proficiency in Crane & Lifting safety practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Willingness to travel to project sites and work collaboratively with clients - Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement (Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the Job Description.),
