Key Responsibilities:
• Supplier Selection and Management: to Identify and evaluate potential Electronics/Mechanical suppliers based on quality, lead time, pricing, and production capabilities.
o Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure high performance in terms of product quality and delivery timelines.
• Cost Management: o Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring the quality and functionality of Electronics/Mechanical meet the required specifications.
o Evaluate and manage the cost of components used in Electronics/Mechanical and work with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
o Conduct periodic cost analysis and work on optimizing costs without compromising on quality.
• Collaboration with Design and NPI:
o Collaborate with product design teams and NPI engineers to understand Electronics/Mechanical requirements and provide feedback on manufacturability, materials, and potential cost savings.
o Assist the design team in selecting the appropriate Electronics/Mechanical desi gns, materials, and specifications that meet both technical and cost requirements. • Market Research and Trend Analysis:
o Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in Electronics/Mechanical manufacturing.
o Continuously assess market conditions and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain accurate records of suppliers, contracts, pricing, and procurement activities.
o Provide regular reports to management on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure all Electronics/Mechanical sourcing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
o Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality.
