Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

Process Development & Optimization

• Develop, refine, and optimize printing parameters, screen/stencil designs, ink selection, and curing processes for both new and existing products.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance printing quality, yield, and productivity.
• Provide technical leadership for resolving complex printing issues related to calibration, alignment, ink flow, adhesion, and print consistency.

Equipment & Technology Management

• Drive the development, evaluation, and qualification of new screen printing machines.
• Work with industry-leading equipment from brands such as DEK, MPM, ATMA, EKRA, or similar platforms.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies including advanced inks, screens, stencils, squeegees, mesh, and automation systems.

Supplier & OEM Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with suppliers, consumable vendors, and OEMs for machine upgrades, troubleshooting, and process integration.
• Conduct capability assessments, perform trials, and adopt best practices to strengthen manufacturing performance.

Automation & Control Systems

• Work with automation systems including PLCs, servo-driven printing platforms, and robotic handling systems to enhance process capability and reliability.

Documentation & Compliance

• Define, maintain, and update technical standards, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials for printing processes.
• Ensure adherence to industry and internal quality standards.

Innovation & Industry Awareness

• Stay up-to-date with global trends, emerging screen printing technologies, and new process innovations.
• Recommend and implement cutting-edge solutions to keep the company at the forefront of screen printing excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in screen printing machines and processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mesh selection, tensioning, emulsion/coating techniques, squeegee design, and ink formulation.
• Proficiency with screen printing equipment such as DEK, MPM, ATMA, EKRA, etc.
• Understanding of automation systems, PLC integration, and servo-based machine operation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
