Senior Engineer /Assistant Manager : Design Engineer

Qualification:

Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master degree)

Experience:

Minimum 5 Years Hand on Experience on Tyre Design and Development in reputed Company In India , MNC experience Preferred

Knowledge and Key Skills

Basic Tyre Engineering and design

Deep knowledge and understanding of
Competitor Benchmarking Analysis of performance , Target extraction and Creating product Goals

Tyre Design : Cavity , Cured Tyre Layout Design , tyre engineering calculations

Construction Design : Deep first Hand Knowledge of Construction Design , Tyre Manufacturing Process Relation to Green Component Design

Tyre Construction , Tyre Mechanics , Design and VD and Testing

Tyre Section Analysis, for Performance tuning

Mould Design and Ancillaries Design : Curing Rings, Bladder Stretches, Cure Chart analysis , Test protocols

Standards and Homologation Testing's , Performance Classifications and Tuning

Deep knowledge of Tyre Mechanics , Tyre Footprint dynamics, FEA simulation and Testing Data analysis and correlation with tyre Design/Construction/Compound/Process

Extensive Experience in tuning for R&H , NVH, Endurance and Durability. Construction Measures , Cure System Measures , Tyre Building specification , lift ratios, component assembly and placement

Deep understanding of Tyre Uniformity , Structural behaviour of Tyre, Troubleshooting and diagnosis of Structural performance of Tyre on vehicle and Bench

Advanced Knowledge vehicle dynamics and Tyre performance relationship

Subjective and Objective Testing experience and ability to analyse test data , relationship with Tyre construction , Compounds, Contour measures

Other

Hands on experience ion VOC and QFD, Experience in Customer interactions and Market Studies , Benchmarking

TQM and Quality system knowledge is desirable

Project Management Skills are mandatory

Product Industrialization and process troubleshooting for New products, willingness to work at Plant /Process

Ability and experience of handling performance feedback and , troubleshooting field failures

Advanced Knowledge of Auto CAD, NX 13 (modelling)Minimum 2 years Hands on , CATIA and Siemens Team centre will be added advantage

Excellent Oral and written communications Skills

Basic Knowledge of data analytics, MS office , Excel MATLAB, etc
