Senior Engineer

1. Mechanical Maintenance:

• Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of major plant equipment (kiln, cooler, crusher, VRM, ball mill, conveyors, etc.).
  
• Ensure reliability and availability of all mechanical systems.
  
• Review maintenance reports, analyze recurring issues, and implement corrective actions.
  

2. Project Planning & Execution:

• Lead plant modification, upgradation, and equipment installation projects.
  
• Prepare mechanical project plans including scope, budget, timelines, and resources.
  
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  

3. Equipment Health Monitoring:

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.
  
• Monitor vibration, temperature, and wear trends using condition monitoring tools.
  
• Ensure implementation of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices.
  

4. Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Guide and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and fitters.
  
• Plan and manage daily tasks and job distribution.
  
• Conduct training programs on maintenance best practices and safety.
  

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and statutory regulations.
  
• Lead mechanical safety audits and participate in risk assessments.
  
• Maintain documentation as per ISO, EMS, and safety standards.
  

6. Inventory & Cost Control:

• Monitor and control consumption of spares and maintenance materials.
  
• Review spare parts inventory and raise material requisitions.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization in maintenance activities.
