Senior Electrician

Roles and Responsibilities

To ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems, machinery, and utilities in the manufacturing plant by overseeing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management activities in compliance with safety and statutory standards.

Supervise and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machines, and utility equipment.

Ensure proper functioning of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, VFDs, MCCs, and other electrical equipment.

Plan and execute new electrical installations, expansions, and upgradation projects.

Prepare load calculations, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

Supervise contractors and vendors during project execution. Monitor power consumption, identify losses, and implement energy-saving initiatives.

Maintain power factor and ensure efficient use of electrical energy

Strong knowledge of Electrical systems, rotating equipment, and utilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and project execution tasks related to electrical installations, lighting systems, and PLC programming.
  
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment and machinery.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all aspects of work.
  
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-10 years' experience as an electrician in a manufacturing industry setting.
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and prevention techniques.
  
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and testing measurements using various tools (e.g., multimeters).
  
• Experience working with PLC programming languages such as ladder logic or function block diagrams.
