Role: Senior Electrical Site Supervisor (132KV)

Experience needed:

Department: Infrastructure Constructions & Site Engineering

Education: Diploma, B.Tech Civil, Electrical

• Comprehensive experience in construction of 220KV, 132KV, 110KV, 66KV, 33KV Transmission & Distribution line works.
• Ability to carry out complete Project activities like Foundation construction, Erection, Conductor stringing ,Testing & Commissioning of Transmission Towers up to 220Kv level SC& DC .
• UG cable laying experience up to above Voltage Level will be an advantage.
• Have relevant experience/knowledge in construction of substation up to 400KV inclusive of Transformer Bays ,VCB’S,CT ,PT, Control Panels, Marshalling Box,Kiosk etc.,
• Coordinating with onsite working crew to work on Project Schedule, Budgeting, Resource Assignments, Risk Management, Quality and Cost Management etc. Act as the main technical adviser onsite to keep work progress on track
• Knowledge of IEC, BIS or any NEC standards to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and design specifications.
• Able to understand General route, Schematic ,SLD’s, and Layout drawings of a project
• Developing job progress schedule to ensure that actual construction parallels with the schedule
• Should able to identify safety hazards and risks to avert emergencies during project.
• Determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary allocations.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials. Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments. Acquire necessary equipment and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Submitting daily site reports and compiling data regarding existing project being carried out & maintaining detailed documentation of all site engineering activities

Key Skills

• Knowledge of construction permits, legal requirements and construction procedures
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Speak English, Telugu & Hindi proficiently
• Ready to work anywhere in India
