Senior Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at our Global Engineering Center, you will be responsible for executing both international and local projects in India. Your role will involve designing electrical systems for Water Treatment Plants and associated systems, preparing electrical deliverables, performing various design calculations, and coordinating with different disciplines to ensure project success. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing electrical systems for Water Treatment Plants and associated systems. - Preparing electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Control Wiring and Schematic Drawings, Load Lists and Cable Schedules, Equipment Layouts, Cable Routing, Lighting, and Earthing Layouts. - Performing various design calculations and equipment sizing. - Conducting clash checks and layout coordination with piping, civil, and instrumentation disciplines. - Handling power supply arrangements and interfacing electrical systems with mechanical packages. - Applying knowledge of Indian and international electrical standards. - Preparing Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, and Purchase Requisitions. - Reviewing and approving vendor drawings and documents. - Participating in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments. - Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure deliverable alignment. - Supporting cost estimation for electrical systems and equipment. - Identifying and proposing cost-saving measures during design and procurement phases. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Strong working knowledge of electrical equipment in water/wastewater treatment systems. - Familiarity with industrial standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, BS, ANSI, NEMA, and DEP. - Experience in preparing and reviewing design deliverables for EPC projects. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Power system design tools, and Lighting design software.
