Senior Electrical Engineer - Construction & Infrastructure

Foreword: -

This position is responsible for leading Electrical Design Engineers and Designers on various projects in the development of design concepts, calculations, schemes, and authority-required documentation.

Job responsibilities of the role: -

1. Monitor planning, designing and developing Electrical engineering services system design.

2. Manage Design Questionnaire, Space planning, and Design basis/ concept report in consultation with Mechanical counterpart through the design team.

3. Develop & review Electrical calculations, and Preparation of MOEF, and support documents like calculations as per the Authority drawing & Cost comparison.

4. Review Electrical & ELV design drawings at all stages, and develop Specifications and BOQ of the same.

5. Prepare presentations in PowerPoint for Client meetings.

6. Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels to support collaborative work practices.

7. Maintain Customer focus and adhere to Quality & Time.

8. Apply technical knowledge to resolve problems and be willing to learn new skills.

Technical Requirements: -

1. Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.

2. Minimum 10+ years of similar experience (preferably in Consultancy field).

3. Having exposure & expertise in handling projects like residential, commercial,

Hospital villa’s & Hotel.

4. Knowledge of local codes (NBC, IS CODE, CPCB, NEC ETC.)

5. Knowledge of Electrical design systems with all relevant calculations & system selection like Electrical load, SLD, Short Circuit calculation, LPS, earthing, voltage drop, APFC, ELV, Solar PV, meter and panel room sizing, & UPS.

6. Preparing BOQ and knowledge of AutoCAD.

7. Coordinate electrical layout with another services layout.

3. The Candidate Should have very good written and verbal communication skills in English is must.

4. The candidate should have experience handling a team of Engineers and designers with technical support.

5. Should be good in client coordination, preferably from a Consultancy background.
