Electrical Designer - Construction and Infrastructure Projects

Foreword: -

We are Dubai-based reputed MEP Consultancy company currently recruiting MEP Designers and Engineers for its Mumbai office.

This position is responsible for leading Electrical Design Engineers and Designers on various projects in the development of design concepts, calculations, schemes, and authority-required documentation. The position is also apt for someone who has worked with Architectural, Construction and Engineering consulting firms.

Job Roles and Responsibilities: -

1. Studying the Architect's drawing & noting observations for service requirements.

2. Coordination with Seniors for requirements of the drawings to start the work.

3. Co-ordination of MEP services.

4. Preparing electrical equipment layout and plans

5. Prepare cable schedules, cable route, Cable tray, trunking diagrams & conduit

development.

6. Prepare load schedules & single-line diagrams.

7. Prepare earthing and lighting layout drawings.

8. Prepare lighting protection (LPS) layout.

9. Preparation of shop drawings/ construction drawing for cable tray, lighting,

power layout, single line diagram (SLD), Earthing layout, Lighting layout, Fire

alarm plan, section and its installation details.

10. Developing the layout plans, Preparing detailed Engineering DWG from

engineers sketches.

11. Knowledge of ELV, CCTV, Fire alarm & Public announcement.

12. Preparing quantity takeoff for BOQ.

13. Knowledge of Revit can be an added advantage.

Technical Requirements: -

1. Diploma/ certificate in Electrical and AutoCAD.

2. Minimum 5 to 7 years of similar experience (preferably in Consultancy field).

3. Having exposure & expertise in handling projects like residential, commercial,

Hospital villas, Hotels and others.

4. Handling designing/ drafting of Electrical systems.

5. Detailing for various market segments of Residential, Commercial, Hospitality,

Health care, Education.

6. Working Knowledge/ experience of the latest Autocad version

7. Coordinate electrical layout with another services layout.
