Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Part-Time Electrical Engineer to oversee and advise on all electrical and related systems at our luxury residential township Opera Garden. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, drawing approvals, contractor supervision, and timely execution of electrical works including fire, lift, lighting, and backup systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and coordinate electrical layout drawings, including lighting, power, earthing, and DB schedules.
• Monitor and ensure quality execution of all electrical installations on-site: cabling, conduits, panels, earthing, lighting, etc.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, suppliers, and site engineers for smooth implementation of work as per schedule.
• Verify and check fire alarm systems, DG connections, LT panels, transformer installation, lift power lines, etc.
• Inspect and certify electrical work stages before slab casting, finishing, and handover.
• Conduct periodic safety audits and ensure adherence to IS codes, electrical safety norms, and load calculations.
• Liaise with PSPCL/authorities for power load sanctioning, meter connections, and approvals as required.
• Support in commissioning and handover of electrical systems, including lighting automation or smart features (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.E./Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in residential/commercial electrical work supervision
• Strong knowledge of LT/HT systems, load balancing, safety norms, and building code compliance
• Familiarity with working drawings and coordination with structural and MEP teams
• Ability to work part-time with flexible site visits (2–3 times/week)
• PSPCL liaisoning experience will be an added advantage

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 4 per week
