Senior Dot Net Developer

As a Senior .Net Developer based in Sydney, your role will involve working with the .Net framework 3.5 or above, C#.Net, and ASP.Net. You will also be responsible for utilizing JQuery and JavaScript for web UI design and development. Your expertise in SQL 2012/2016, including writing stored procedures and database optimization, will be crucial for this position. Additionally, your experience in design patterns, integration, unit testing, and test-driven development practices will be highly valuable. Key Responsibilities: - Perform software development following prescribed technologies, guidelines, and standards - Design and develop complete features in accordance with the software development lifecycle - Review and analyze technical specifications and test plans - Proactively communicate potential impacts of code refactoring to senior project team members - Fix bugs efficiently and seek clarification to resolve any ambiguity in specifications or bug descriptions - Engage in problem-solving, task management, and completion - Make technical design decisions and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in .Net development with proficiency in C#.Net, ASP.Net, and SQL - Knowledge of JQuery, JavaScript, and web UI design principles - Familiarity with design patterns, integration, and unit testing - Excellent debugging skills and experience with source control and continuous integration systems - Previous work experience in agile environments - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Desirable skills include SSIS, SSRS, SQL agent job, and experience in BFS or risk and compliance projects In addition, this role emphasizes the importance of excellent customer interfacing skills, written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
