Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Application Support and Development Director
with 20+ years of experience
to lead and manage enterprise-level application support and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex application ecosystems, driving operational excellence, and ensuring high availability and performance of business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategy for application support and development aligned with business objectives.
- Lead a global team of application support engineers and developers, ensuring collaboration across regions.
- Establish governance, best practices, and KPIs for application performance and support.

Application Support
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes for critical applications.
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Drive automation and proactive monitoring to improve system reliability.

Application Development
- Manage development and enhancement projects for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, coding standards, and security compliance.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary liaison between IT and business teams for application-related initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership on performance, risks, and improvement plans.

Operational Excellence
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for support and development processes.
- Optimize resource allocation and manage budgets for application support and development.
Required Qualifications:

Experience:
- 20+ years in IT with at least 10 years in leadership roles managing application support and development.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale enterprise applications in a global environment.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of application architectures, databases, middleware, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with ITIL processes, DevOps practices, and modern monitoring tools.

- Excellent people management, mentoring, and team-building capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Comfortable working in a hybrid model (3 days in office).
