Senior Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices for scalability and security. Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including deployments, monitoring, scaling, and upgrades. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions , or AWS CodePipeline . Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation , or CDK . Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch , Prometheus , Grafana , and ELK Stack . Implement containerization strategies using Docker , and deploy containers to Kubernetes clusters. Collaborate with developers to streamline code integration and release processes. Enforce security best practices (IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning, Secrets Manager). Maintain system documentation and support incident response as needed. Preferred candidate profile 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles . Strong expertise in AWS services : EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, ELB, CloudWatch. Proficiency in managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes (EKS preferred). Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform , Proficient in Docker and container orchestration. Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code* suite). Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools: CloudWatch , Prometheus , Grafana . Knowledge of Git and branching strategies. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash , Python , or Go ). Understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, SSL/TLS, and firewalls. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field. Relevant security certifications are a plus. Nice to Have: Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional , CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) . Experience with Helm , ArgoCD , or Flux . Exposure to DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
