Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at our company, you will lead the design, deployment, and scaling of secure infrastructure in the AWS cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our applications and data workflows run smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on Linux and Bash scripting expertise. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will design, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure. You will own deployment automation and advocate for infrastructure-as-code practices. Your role will involve managing Linux environments, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Additionally, you will configure and maintain DNS, load balancers, and system monitoring tools to improve system stability, security, and operational visibility. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4 years of professional experience in DevOps roles and possess strong computer science fundamentals with proven programming ability. Deep expertise in Linux administration and proficiency in Bash scripting are mandatory, while experience in Ruby or Python scripting is a plus. Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) or similar cloud platforms is required, along with familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. A strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices for cloud environments is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with data workflows or ETL pipelines, familiarity with JavaScript build systems, and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
