Job Role:

Oversees the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analysing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI\/ CD pipelines).

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform site deployments and environment debugging.Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructureSetting up tools and required infrastructure for development and deployment of projectsDefining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operationIdentifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk managementIncidence management and root cause analysisCoordination and communication within the team and with customersSelecting and deploying appropriate CI\/CD toolsMentoring and guiding the development team members on DevOps and CI\/CD Best PracticesManaging periodic reporting on the progress to the managementLiaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company softwaresystems.Conduct research into DevOps-related issues and products.Skills and Experience:A bachelordegree in computer science, software engineering or related field.Technical knowledge of programming languages, including .NET, Java, Spring boot, Web apps etc.Must have experience configuring cloud services and deploying software to the cloud.Extensive database and operating systems experience.Thorough understanding of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.Intermediate level of experience configuring docker\/ Kubernetes; or a willingness to learn fast.Understanding of configuring and deploying third party components such as kafka, redis etc. in an on-premise cloud environment.Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.Design and manage of CI\/CD Pipelines and Infrastructure as code to enable consistent and automated deployment.Knowledge of Scripting Languages - Bash, PowerShell, Python etc.Experience in multi-data center and highly available environmentMust have knowledge and experience of the Tools Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Docker and KubernetesEnvironment2+ years of experience working in a similar role.2+ years of experience working as an engineering large-scale software projects.Branching Strategies, working with GitStrong interpersonal skills.Highly logical.Technically proficient.Highly self-motivated and directed.Keen attention to detail.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
