As a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer, your primary focus will be on AWS cloud services. Your responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, optimizing and maintaining cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency, monitoring and ensuring the security of cloud-based systems, and developing and implementing automated provisioning processes for infrastructure deployment. You will utilize tools like Terraform and Packer to automate and streamline the provisioning of resources and champion the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Additionally, you will collaborate with development and operations teams, communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery processes. Your role will also involve implementing monitoring solutions, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements, and staying updated on AWS certifications and emerging technologies like containerization, microservices architecture, and serverless computing. Secondary Responsibilities: - Obtain AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). - Have experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Possess knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing. - Be familiar with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack). Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in a BE. - Proven experience in IT / ITES. - Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS. - Strong proficiency in automated provisioning and cloud management. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Packer. - Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. - Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
