Senior Devops Engineer

Job Title: Senior InfoSec / DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior InfoSec/DevOps Engineer who can help us keep our systems secure, stable, and running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving security practices, automating workflows, and ensuring our infrastructure is reliable and safe.

What You Will Do

• Build, manage, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Monitor systems and identify any security risks or unusual activity.
  
• Implement security best practices across servers, networks, and applications.
  
• Automate deployments, CI/CD pipelines, backups, and system monitoring.
  
• Manage firewalls, access controls, IAM policies, and security configurations.
  
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure secure coding and deployment practices.
  
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, patching, and security updates.
  
• Handle incident response and help the team quickly resolve any security issues.
  
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and security policies.
  
• Help improve our DevOps workflows to make releases faster and more reliable.
  

What Were Looking For

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
  
• Good knowledge of Linux systems and server administration.
  
• Experience with container tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Understanding of security frameworks, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
  
• Ability to write scripts (Python, Bash, Shell) to automate tasks.
  
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and general network security.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  
• Good communication skills and a habit of documenting work.
  

Nice to Have

• Certifications like CISSP, CEH, Security+, AWS Security Specialty, etc.
  
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK stack).
  
• Knowledge of zero-trust security models.
  
• Exposure to compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
